If your transaction does not proceed no legal fees will be charged. However in addition to the fixed fee (exclusive of VAT) for the core conveyancing services you will be liable to pay the usual disbursements associated with the house sale / purchase process. If you are purchasing with a mortgage where you are obliged to pay the lenders legal fees these will be due in addition to the other charges already mentioned. Spicer McColl Legal charge an arrangement fee of £25 (plus VAT) which will be included within your invoice as a disbursement, on a no sale no fee basis. These will be confirmed in writing by your conveyancer.
Please note: If your transaction fails to proceed you will be responsible for the cost of any third party disbursements made on your behalf.
